There’s something so special about photographing parents-to-be in that sweet in-between season—equal parts excitement, tenderness, and anticipation. Morgan and Jason’s maternity session at Mode Studio in Sioux Falls was exactly that.
These two are as down-to-earth and kind as they come. From the moment they walked in, you could feel the calm, steady joy they share as they wait for their little one to arrive. And can we talk about their outfits? Effortless, flattering, and perfectly aligned with the soft, modern vibe of the studio. They made every frame feel warm and genuine.
Mode Studio’s natural light and clean aesthetic gave us the perfect backdrop to capture this chapter of their story—quiet moments, soft smiles, and the kind of connection that reminds me why I love documenting maternity so much.
I’m especially excited because this isn’t the last time you’ll see these two here. Morgan and Jason are taking advantage of my multi-session milestone package, which means I’ll get to meet their sweet baby soon and photograph their newborn session as well. Watching a family’s story unfold from bump to baby is truly one of my favorite parts of this job.
