Senior photo season is always one of my favorites, and Jaxson’s session was no exception! We spent the evening exploring downtown Sioux Falls—one of my go-to locations because it’s so versatile and full of character. From brick alleys and city backdrops to open green spaces nearby, it gives us endless options for unique and personalized senior portraits.


Jaxson is into baseball, so of course, we had to bring that part of his personality into his session. I love when seniors include their passions, hobbies, or sports because it makes the photos feel even more meaningful. Whether it’s a favorite jersey, glove, or bat, those small details really tell the story of this exciting chapter of life.


His mom, Charity, and her husband joined us, and we had such a fun time walking around downtown together. We definitely put in the miles, but it was worth it for the variety we captured—from bold cityscapes to relaxed, natural shots in the greenery at the end of our session.
