There’s something extra magical about golden hour in Sioux Falls—especially when it’s spent capturing a love like Alicia and Brian’s. This sweet couple is expecting a baby boy this June, and we celebrated with a gorgeous maternity session at The Outdoor Campus. Between the tall golden grass and the quiet shimmer of the water, it was the perfect setting to capture such an exciting season in their lives.


Alicia and Brian were an absolute dream to photograph. Their connection is effortless, and the way they laugh together made my job easy. (I even joked with Alicia that I was the Adam Sandler of pregnancy—always aiming for a laugh while we shoot!) They nailed their outfits, too—soft, natural tones that complimented each other and the landscape beautifully.


If you’re looking for maternity photography in Sioux Falls, The Outdoor Campus is one of my favorite hidden gems. It offers both woodsy textures and serene backdrops, all within city limits. And when you pair that with a couple as lovely as these two, the result is pure magic.


I’m so excited for Alicia and Brian as they get ready to meet their baby boy. It’s sessions like these that remind me why I love being a maternity photographer in Sioux Falls.
